# Crelate

> The Crelate integration allows you to connect jobs, candidates, and matches to Alex, keeping your recruitment data in sync between platforms. This integration also enables automated interview invites and streamlined workflows.

### Step 1: Retrieve and Enter Your API Key

1. Log into **Crelate** with an **Admin account**.
2. Go to: [https://app.crelate.com/go#user/userapi](https://app.crelate.com/go#user/userapi).
3. Enable **API access** and copy **My API Key**.
4. In the **Alex web app**, navigate to **Settings → Integrations → Crelate**.
5. Paste the API key into the field and click **Test Connection**.
6. Once the test is successful, click **Connect** to save your credentials.

### Step 2: Configure Automations

After connecting Crelate, you can enable automations to accelerate your hiring process:

* **Candidate Invites**\
  Automatically invite candidates to complete an Alex interview after they apply to an open role in Crelate.\
  *This is the most common automation for efficiency.*
* **Interview Creation**\
  Automatically create Alex Interviews when a job is added or updated in Crelate.\
  This is useful for **high-volume or high-turnover roles** where speed is critical.\
  *Tip: Start with manual interview creation to learn the workflow before turning this on.*
